Monticello Fire & Rescue hoisted a disaster drill at Monticello High School in all about 130 people participated in the drill with units from 4 other fire departments 3 area EMS units 4 county and villages police units and news media. The drill was to simulate an explosion in the high school chemistry lab. The whole drill from start to finish took about 2.5 hours to complete. Below are a few photos from that drill.
